Projector bulbs generate a lot of heat. You should be aware of that projector bulb generates more heat than any other light bulb. That is a reason why it is so vulnerable. Of course every projector has fan to cool down projector bulbs. You should be always sure that projector fan is working. If it doesn’t work your projector bulb will last quite shorter. Also projector has filter that cools it. Filter must be clean from dirt all the time.
If you want to make projector bulbs to last longer turn down the brightness. If you turn down projector brightness , your projector will use less electric power.
If you want to move your projector, wait until bulbs are cooled down. Also you should keep your projector in room with compatible temperature. Don’t leave your projector directly under sunlight.
